#116 Rapid Intervention Crew

All Departments should have an SOP listing the details and responsibilities of the Rapid Intervention Crew (RIC). A big part of an effective RIC is in knowing which tools to gather for any given incident, have them assembled in a timely manner, and be ready to do the take action in a moments notice. Below is a list of standard tools that every RIC should have immediate access to.

Frank Viscuso is a career deputy chief from Hudson County, NJ, one of the most densely populated counties in the country.
